Hello! My name is Libby and I'm the owner of Hill Kid Creations. HKC launched in 2008 when I acquired a license to sew and sell the very popular Fly Baby Designs Diapers. FBD's are my favorite dipe and I am so excited to share these trim, beautifully cut diapers with you. I began cloth diapering when my youngest son was 4 months old. It was a change my family made because of the impact that disposable diapers have on the environment. At one point I thought people who used cloth diapers, pins, and plastic pants were crazy but then I discovered pocket diapers. I also realized that an extra load of laundry every couple of days was an easy thing that I could do to help the environment. Besides, is there really anything cuter than a fluffy bum???

I began sewing when I was middle school age. As the youngest of four it was natural for me to learn this family tradition. I had grown up wearing clothing that was lovingly made for me by my mom and older sisters. Many of the girls clothing items coming soon by Hill Kid Creations will take you back to the timeless styles I wore as a child. The name for the biz honors my childhood spent playing in the woods and creeks of my Western Maryland home. When I came in at dusk, dirty from playing outside all day in the summer sun with my friends mom would just shake her head at the dirt that covered me from head to toe and say "It's OK, you're a Hill Kid". Now, when my sons go to Grandma's to visit they are the ones who come in dirty and happy after a day of being a "Hill Kid".
